“[I] wholeheartedly recommend soprano Robyn Pullen.
Robyn is a performer of great versatility and integrity, always turning her skills to the details of what she is singing. We first worked together on a Brahms’ Requiem where her spellbinding aria drew the accompanying choir into her world and they accompanied sensitively as a result.
We then worked on a programme of Martines and Mozart, including a rarely performed gem of a piece, where Robyn brought fresh ideas to the table, blending beautiful singing with an understanding of the stylistic requirements of the music. In Mozart’s Requiem, she shone not only as a soloist but as a true collaborator in her ensemble singing, not only with her soloist colleagues, but with the orchestra too.
Robyn is a joy to have in the rehearsal room and is always superbly prepared for the task at hand.”

“Robyn brought style and vigour to the Opera Scenes performance of Wolf-Ferrari’s Le Donne Curiose, singing the demanding role of Rosaura in this lively and imaginatively produced extract from a little performed and challenging piece. Amidst a quartet of excellent female voices, her voice rang out in the large auditorium. There was wit, anxiety, mischief and compassion, all integrated, and portrayed with style and intelligent musicality, by this upcoming and versatile young soprano.”

“Not since I heard the young Amanda Roocroft, singing with us several times in the 1980’s, have I been so certain “here is a star in the making” It was quite breathtakingly beautiful.”
“[Her] voice is pure and beautiful. I seriously help we engage you in a future performance!”

“Robyn sang the Soprano aria in Salford Choral Society’s Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem (in German!) in October 2022. It was a remarkably mature and stylish performance of this challenging (and exposed) music. Choir members were enchanted - and their performance was lifted - by such beautiful singing. She was assured and convincing in both the triumphant and the reassuring aspects of this potentially difficult music. Long standing members of the choir, who have sung this music many times, were spellbound by this quite perfect account of this noble music.”

“The solos were a delight: so refreshing to hear two voices full of youthful vigour. Robyn Pullen (soprano) has a pure, sweet voice, yet can project considerable power. Both singers communicate warm, humorous personalities. […] The two artists performance the duet La ci darem la Mano from Don Giovanni with wit and humour. The audience loved it […].”
“The audience was treated to an exciting and outstanding concert. Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens followed by the captivating solos from Robyn Pullen and Samuel Snowden completed the first half.”
— Congleton Choral Society
“The songs were performed by the two excellent soloists for the evening: Soprano, Robyn Pullen, and Bass-Baritone, Freddie Ingles.”
“The Chorus performed this work with confidence and sensitivity, and the two soloists contributed beautifully to a moving performance.

“Earlier we heard more familiar Christmas fare in radiant performances - Corelli’s “Christmas” concerto and Bach’s great advent cantata Wachet Auf. The soloists for the Bach, Robyn Pullen and Dean Robinson, combined rapturously in their two duets […].”
